There are two multi-vehicle crashes that have shut down Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County. What we knowThe first crash happened around 11 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes of I-81 between Exit 116/Route 901 and the Minersville exit, Highridge Park Road.All lanes of I-81 are shut down in the area.It’s not yet clear what caused the crash, but there had been snow in the area.The second multi-vehicle crash happened around 12:55 p.m. in the northbound lanes between Exit 107/Route 209 Tremont/Tower City and Exit 119, Highridge Park Road.
