Angelina Jolie is speaking out with kudo for the brave U.S. gymnasts who spoke at a Senate hearing this week.
Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols, Jessica Howard, Kaylee Lorincz, and more testified about the Inspector General’s report on the FBI handling of the Larry Nassar investigation of sexual abuse of Olympic gymnasts.
The hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee took place on Wednesday afternoon( September 15) in Washington, D.C.
Angelina was also in town and she met with the young women.

” I was honored to meet with some of the brave US gymnasts who materialized before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. I’m in awe of their fearlessnes and commitment to preventing future flops to investigate abuse. As Aly Raisman said in her evidence,’ Over 100 preys could have been saved the abuse. All we needed was one adult to do the right thing .’ Sending substantiate and respect to them, and to all who are reliving this pain so that plan reforms can occur ,” Angelina wrote on Instagram.
She lent,” I was on Capitol Hill this week, participating with Senators on the Violence Against Women Act reauthorization and FBI reforms, including better protections for abused children , non-biased forensic manifestation accumulation, trauma attention, and judicial learn .”
