  1. Terrible technique. This is not how to use a rowing machine. Check out Training Tall or Dark Horse. This will change your efforts & prevent back injury as this woman is showing a bad technique.

  2. Please don't put anymore videos with such poor technique out there. People will learn it the wrong way and maybe even damage their body while doing so. Also it just isn't effective that way. Never put your hands over your knees. The rhythm from the front position should be: straighten your legs while your body is leaning forward slightly, arms are straight. When the legs are straight you move your body slightly backwards (not as much as in the video) and then you move your arms to your body (imagine pressing your shoulder blades together). Then move the hands away from your body quickly, move your body slightly forward and only when you've done this you start moving your legs. And the motion forward should be controlled and slower than backwards and the angle between hips and body should stay the same (not just rolling your bum forward on the seat). There are a lot of great technique videos out there but this is sadly not one of them.

  3. Thank you so much for this video! It was so helpful to see a woman rowing. I followed several videos of a man (who was amazing), and I just had such a hard time telling with his wide/tall build and frame where I was supposed to be hitting on the pullback etc. this was the first time I was able to follow along without my back hurting!

  4. I love your effort but you should work on your technique. You’ll got a lot more out of your workout. May I recommend a Dark Horse Rowing video? I think you’ll love it.

  5. Just got mine a couple days ago. Put it together in about 20 min. Pleased so far but I think misread the instructions; I don't know where the pin goes. I felt the other levels were just monkeying around so I started out at 10 resistance doing about 40 reps a min. Shoot, it feels good to sweat again. Not sure about the results I'm going to get, but who cares when rowing is so fluid. Need more vids, sunny with different sound tracks.
